Ways To Give
Tribute-In Honor of/In Memory Of
Making a gift in honor of or in memory of a loved one or friend provides a heartwarming opportunity to recognize the individual while making a difference in the lives of others. We will notify the individual (s) regarding your gift, but the amount of your gift will not be disclosed. Please complete Tribute/Memorial Form and mail to us at the addressed listed on the form with your gift. On the form, you may designate your gift to South Oaks Hospital or Broadlawn Manor or leave it unrestricted.
Annual Report Campaign
Our Annual Report Campaign is a tax-deductible contribution to The Long Island Home to assist us with an unrestricted gift to continue our mission to provide quality care with dignity and compassion.
Pledges
For those who wish to make a significant contribution to The Long Island Home, arrangements can be made to pay your commitment in installments over time. Please contact Community Relations at (631) 608-5110 to discuss your gift.
Corporate Opportunities
During the course of each year, The Long Island Home sponsors events to raise much needed support for our programs and services. Naming Opportunities
Frequently, individuals look to honor or acknowledge the special attributes or achievement of a loved one, a family member or sometimes husband and wife or whole family. A wide range of opportunities is available at The Long Island Home to acknowledge this outstanding honorarium or memorial. A donor may choose a visible building, wing or clinical area for remembrance and acknowledgement. This lifetime acknowledgement can be arranged by contacting the Community Relations Office at (631) 608-5110. Naming opportunities vary in the size of your gift. Please dont hesitate to contact us.
Matching Gifts
Friends and supporters making gifts to The Long Island Home can double or triple the impact of their gift by advising us of a matching gift from your business or corporation. If you are not sure, please take a moment and check with your Human Resources Department for information.
Wills & Bequests
A bequest in your Will is the simplest and most common method of making a planned gift. You can assure that a portion of your estate can make a difference. You may contact your attorney and ask that the following be included in your Will:
I give and bequeath to The Long Island Home Foundation the sum of __________ or __________ face value bonds, or ___________% of my estate.
