The Long Island Home is a not for profit organization comprised of South Oaks Hospital, Broadlawn Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and our Challenge Activities Ropes Experience (C.A.R.E.).  We are committed to preserving your privacy and safeguarding the integrity of the information you provide us. The Long Island Home values and respects donors’ privacy.  We affirm that its fund raising practices protect against unauthorized use of its contributors and permits no general telephone solicitations.

The Long Island Home utilizes donors’ personal information such as names, mail addresses and email addresses only for the purpose of donor acknowledgement and/or when the individual voluntarily provides this information.  The Long Island Home does not share donors’ personal or contact information with any third party organization.

Visitors to our site remain anonymous.  We do not require visitors to register to review our site.  There are instances when site visitors are asked for additional information in order to provide requested services. For example, information will be requested when making a secure online donation so that your gift may be properly processed and receipted.  Online donors choose the personal information that The Long Island Home receives and can opt to remain anonymous.  All transactions are conducted over a secure server.

We use a number of web analytics to optimize our website, including Google Analytics.  These tools do not require visitors to identify themselves and they do not provide us with personal identifiable information about our visitor that is not supplied voluntarily.  Our goal in using analytics is to better understand what programs and services of our website are of most interest to our visitor.
