The Long Island Home Specialty Healthcare Center, comprised of South Oaks Hospital and Broadlawn Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, is committed to providing quality care with dignity and compassion. The Long Island Home is a recognized provider of services for more than a century and its history, legacy and vision of the future is to continue to be an integral part of quality care, healing and recovery for our community.
Your contributions are transformed into advancing patient and resident quality of life. Here at The Long Island Home, South Oaks utilized donations to support our Summer Adventure Camp for Children at Risk, enhanced the environment of Broadlawn Manor with a beautiful sensory Serenity Garden, revitalized our Child and Adolescent Center of Excellence.
Gifts may be unrestricted, in which case The Long Island Home will apply your gift to its most vital current need. They may be used to help underwrite programs, acquire new equipment, research new programs, modernize or expand our facilities. You may also choose to designate your gift to a specific division of The Long Island Home.
We hope that you will consider a tax-deductible gift to The Long Island Home in your charitable giving plans. Your gift to us may be in the form of an outright donation, a tribute or memorial, a part of our Annual Report, a sponsorship of our events, a bequest in your Will or the use of other planned giving instruments, or a pledge payable over time. Your gift may double or triple if your business or corporation has a matching gift program.
All gifts will receive a tax-deductible receipt and all donations of $500.00 or more will be listed on our Banners of Hope in the lobbies of South Oaks Hospital and Broadlawn Manor. Banners of Hope will be displayed following the year of your gift.
The Long Island Home Community Relations office would be happy to discuss any of these options with you. All gifts are tax-deductible. For more information about the ways you can support The Long Island Home, please contact (631) 608-5110.
