The Long Island Home established in l882 is the independent owner/operator of South Oaks Hospital and Broadlawn Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Each of our divisions provides specialty services to our community meeting the state and federal regulations. Our healthcare system is accredited/licensed or approved as follows:

South Oaks Hospital:
  • A Member of the North Shore-LIJ Health System
  • Office of Mental Health
  • Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse
  • New York State Department of Health
  • The Joint Commission

Broadlawn Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center:

  • A Member of the North Shore-LIJ Health System
  • New York State Department of Health


Suffolk County Prevention Resource Center:

  • New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services (NYS OASAS)
  • Suffolk County Department of Health/Division of Community Mental Hygiene Services
